Job Title: Senior Salesforce Technical Lead

Location : Nashville, TN 

The Senior Salesforce Technical Lead will provide technical leadership for the design, development, and maintenance of a healthcare Scheduling Application built on the Salesforce platform.

This role is responsible for ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

As a trusted technical advisor, the successful candidate will act as the Salesforce and scheduling application subject matter expert, working closely with product management, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to define solution strategy, guide implementation, and drive continuous improvement across the platform.

This position requires strong experience in Salesforce architecture, integrations, data management, and enterprise application delivery within complex business environments.

Development, Architecture & Delivery

• Collaborate with business and product teams to assess requirements, validate solution feasibility, and recommend optimal Salesforce-based approaches.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation specifications.
• Own and maintain solution architecture, system landscape, and integration architecture documentation.
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Serve as a technical SME across Salesforce Platform, Field Service, automation, and enterprise integrations.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and development team mentoring.
• Lead resolution of complex production issues and provide Level 3 support for critical business functions.
• Drive Agile/SAFe delivery practices and support incremental releases within Program Increment (PI) cycles.

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Platform Development.
• Experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSL) scheduling and optimization.
• Strong experience with:
  • Asynchronous processing
  • Batch frameworks
  • Scheduling
  • Trigger frameworks
  • fflib Enterprise Design Patterns
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • SOQL
  • Platform Data Architecture
  • Performance Optimization
  • Governor Limit Management
• Extensive experience designing and implementing integrations using:
  • MuleSoft
  • IBM Integration Bus
  • Similar middleware platforms
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP APIs
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Publish/Subscribe patterns
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues using logs, monitoring tools, and root cause analysis.
• Experience leveraging Salesforce AI capabilities such as Agentforce/Copilot where applicable.

Platform Governance & Operations

• Strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and deployment best practices.
• Experience with deployment tools such as:
  • Copado
  • Gearset
  • AutoRABIT
  • Equivalent tools
• Drive continuous platform improvement by reducing technical debt and enhancing scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements in a controlled enterprise environment.
• Effectively collaborate across onsite, offshore, and nearshore teams, including Product, Business Analysis, QA, Operations, and Support functions.
• Expertise in:
  • Platform scalability
  • Governor limits
  • Large Data Volumes (LDV)
  • Performance engineering
• Experience in Multi-Org Salesforce environments with Data Cloud (nice to have).

• Proven track record leading large-scale Salesforce implementations in complex enterprise environments.
• Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Application Architect
  • System Architect
  • CTA pathway certifications (highly preferred)
• Prior experience with Java, .NET, or other enterprise web development platforms is an asset.
