Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, ETL pipeline design, large-scale data processing, BI tooling, and AI-centric analytics workflows and a proven ability to deliver automated reporting and data products that drive data-informed decision-making at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and the central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis using tools such as Tableau and related BI platforms.
- Build and optimize ETL processes to run marketing campaigns at scale and automate campaign reporting.
- Write high-quality SQL to retrieve and analyze data from large and complex datasets.
- Partner with analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting, data infrastructure, and dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree, preferably in a STEM field.
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL experience (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, or similar).
- Proven ability to build, operate, and optimize distributed data extraction, ingestion, and processing systems for large datasets.
- ETL design, implementation, and maintenance experience with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Business Intelligence expertise with tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy and report automation practices.
- Proficiency with Python and R for data processing and analysis.
- Experience in AI-centric organizations or with AI tools integrated into analytics workflows.
- Ability to lead best practices for data pipelines and work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Experience working cross-functionally.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in big tech or large-scale data environments managing millions of rows.
- Self-management of projects, including expectation setting and stakeholder communication.

Additional Information
- Top must-have skills: AI-centric experience, advanced SQL, ability to build and guide best practices for data pipelines, independent leadership.
- Good to have: Self-managed project delivery and expectation setting.
- Years of experience: 5+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
- Degrees or certifications: Bachelor's degree required; STEM preferred.
- Key performance measurements: Quality and reliability of automated reporting, scalability and robustness of pipelines, data accuracy, stakeholder satisfaction, and on-time delivery.
- Disqualifiers: Primarily small-scale pipeline experience; lack of comfort working with very large datasets; limited SQL depth.
- Interview process: Up to 3 rounds including a screening, a technical interview, and a stakeholder interview with a growth marketer.
