Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Oracle Database & System Administrator to support Oracle EBS (GL, AP, AR), Oracle APEX applications, and underlying Oracle databases in a complex enterprise environment. The role involves database administration, patching, upgrades, deployments, and production support across Linux and Windows systems. The job is open to candidates within the 100 miles radius of Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities
Manage Oracle database administration, upgrades, and patching activities
Support Oracle EBS (GL, AP, AR) and APEX applications
Perform quarterly security patching and system upgrades
Deploy changes for Oracle APEX applications
Monitor and resolve database and system issues
Manage Oracle service requests and ensure timely resolution
Handle database job scheduling and automation tasks
Support data loads and scripting for routine operations
Collaborate with teams on deployments and release activities
Maintain system documentation and technical artifacts
Provide production support including off-hours when required
