Job Summary: Developer – Full Stack Senior
- Location: Onsite in McLean, VA
- Duration: 6+ Months
- Interview: 1 in-person round (60 mins)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support systems for financial modeling, analytics, and research.
- Write new code and review existing code to meet standard development practices.
- Support operational execution of software solutions for market and credit risk monitoring/control.
- Modify, maintain, and develop applications using relevant tools and languages.
- Collaborate with financial research and engineering teams to define system requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Python, front-end technologies (React, JavaScript), and web application development.
- Proven ability to write efficient, effective code.
- Practical experience with AI programming, especially using LLMs to build agentic applications.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Master’s in Computer Science/Software Engineering/related field + 2 years’ analytics software development
OR
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Software Engineering/related field + 5 years’ analytics software development
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Quantitative finance concepts
- Python programming, including web (Flask, Dash) and data processing (Pandas, NumPy)
- Front-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Database and SQL expertise
- Linux/Unix operating systems
Preferred Experience:
- JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, data table, React
- Front-end design, including CSS and Tailwind
- Cloud technologies (Google Kubeflow, AWS)
- Mortgage or GSE (Government-Sponsored Enterprise) experience
- Additional programming languages: R, Java, C, C++, SAS
Desirable Background:
- Experience in fixed income, accounting, or capital markets is a plus.
- Strong AI/LLM (Large Language Model) application development experience.
