We are seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Tax Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning advice. You will be working closely with a team of dedicated professionals and will play a key role in driving the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals (1040), partnerships (1065), S corporations (1120S), estates, and non-profit organizations.
2. Coordinate and manage all aspects of tax compliance, including tax provisions, tax audits, and tax planning.
3. Provide strategic tax advice to clients, helping them to make informed business decisions and achieve their financial goals.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations and ensure that all tax procedures comply with these laws.
5. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client profitability.
6. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of tax data.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting professional development.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager role, with a proven track record of successful tax planning and compliance.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with 1040 individual returns, 1065 partnership returns, 1120S corporate tax returns, estate returns, and non-profit tax returns.
4. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide effective tax solutions.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Proficiency in tax software programs and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
