Job Title: Junior Technical Analyst (API & SQL Focus)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Junior Technical Analyst with 7+ years of experience to support the development of innovative web, mobile, chat, and voice-based solutions for evolving financial services needs.
This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with APIs and SQL, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications while working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business needs into technical system requirements
Analyze and test existing applications and APIs to understand functionality and identify enhancement opportunities
Evaluate enterprise and third-party APIs to determine data availability and integration feasibility
Perform data mapping between systems and ensure accurate data flow
Assist in defining, prioritizing, and refining features, user stories, and epics
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
Conduct application testing, validation, and troubleshooting
Create and maintain system requirement documents and interface specifications
Work closely with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Analyze logs, database records, and system behavior to identify and resolve production issues
Provide demos and walkthroughs to internal teams and stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in a Technical Analyst / Systems Analyst / IT Analyst role
Strong experience with API analysis and integration concepts
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and validation
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Understanding of multi-tier application architecture (UI, services, data layers)
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Technical Knowledge:
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) / Microservices
REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns
Data formats such as XML and JSON
Error handling and system configuration concepts
Application logging and debugging techniques
Nice to Have:
Experience with external-facing web or mobile applications
Hands-on experience with API tools like Postman or SoapUI
Exposure to writing web/mobile application requirements
Experience working with financial services domain applications
