Business Management The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic advice for the assigned business area. While focusing on the highest-level projects, this job executes strategic business management consulting by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being the central point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is a recognized master in the Business Management area.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Serves as strategic partner for leader(s) they support - translating organizational vision into actionable plans and driving execution of critical business priorities.
- Provides executive decision support through synthesis of complex business issues, stakeholder perspectives, and data analysis into clear options and recommendations that enable timely, informed leadership decisions.
- Manages key stakeholder relationships across all organizational levels-building trust, navigating competing priorities, and driving consensus.
- Analyzes and reports to senior management on business performance data (financial, operational, headcount) with insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversees business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items to ensure successful delivery.
- Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives, including preparation of executive-level materials and communications.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives and programs, as needed.

- Prior Chief of Staff or similar Business Manager experience
- Program Management Office (PMO) or portfolio management experience
- Financial services industry experience at TIAA, peer institutions, or related organizations
- Experience with M&A, strategic planning, or organizational transformation
- Previous experience with Canva and/or Poppulo

Base Pay Range: $132,000/yr - $176,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
