  • Are you an experience Epic Professional Billing expert ready to take on a dynamic role supporting both major build initiatives and day-to-day operational needs? We're seeking a highly skilled Epic PB Build Analyst to join a large, respected healthcare organization (name omitted for confidentiality) on a fully remote, 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. If you enjoy complex build work, collaborating across teams, solving tricky production issues, and ensuring clean, accurate billing operations, this opportunity offers the perfect blend of project engagement and hands-on support.

Position Summary
  • In this role, you will serve as a subject-matter expert in Epic Professional Billing (PB), contributing to key project initiatives while also supporting daily operations through ticket resolution, system optimization, and issue troubleshooting. You'll work with a wide range of Epic PB functionality-including claims, remittance, follow-ups, estimates, credits, MyChart billing, and security. This is an ideal role for an Epic PB professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and meaningful impact in a complex environment.

Required Skills &
  • Profession Billing /Claims certification
  • 5+ years of Epic PB Build experience (must-have)
  • Strong professional billing background including claims, remittance, and follow-up workflows
  • Experience supporting operational teams with tickets, break/fix work, and ongoing maintenance
  • Familiarity with PB-specific functionality including: Claims processing, Remittance and payment posting, Follow-up workflows, Credits and adjustments, Estimates and price transparency tools, MyChart patient billing, Epic security and user provisioning
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong documentation, testing, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute build configurations within Epic Professional Billing (PB)
  • Support multiple ongoing PB-related project initiatives across revenue cycle workstreams
  • Manage daily operational tickets, troubleshooting issues and deploying needed fixes
  • Work with claim processing, remittance workflows, charge review, and billing edits
  • Support follow-ups, credits, estimates, and patient-facing billing tools
  • Ensure accurate configuration and maintenance of MyChart billing workflows
  • Manage or support PB security, roles, templates, and access requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including PB operations, IT analysts, revenue cycle leadership, and clinical teams
  • Identify system optimization opportunities to support clean claims and improved reimbursements
  • Document build decisions, testing results, and workflowimpacts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
