Job Title: Cerner Millennium CCL and Data Transformation LeadLocation: Austin, TX (Remote)
Duration: 4 Months+ (extension possible)
Role Overview:
Cerner Millennium CCL and Data Transformation Lead to support Electronic Health Record (EHR) migration initiatives. This staff augmentation role provides a combination of Millennium data management expertise and hands on technical development and data extraction approaches within Cerner Millennium environments.
The Worker will ensure that clinical workflow intent and operational requirements are accurately translated into Cerner Command Language (CCL) logic, data extracts, and downstream reporting and analytics solutions. This position operates under HHSC direction, policies, and standards, and collaborates closely with clinical stakeholders, informatics governance bodies, and technical delivery teams to support EHR modernization, data migration, reporting, and legacy system retirement efforts.

| Required | Demonstrated experience supporting large scale EHR implementations, migrations, or optimization initiatives. |
| Required | Proven ability to translate clinical requirements into technical and data specifications. |
| Required | Advanced, hands on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL). |
| Required | Working knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases |
| Required | Experience with SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction or migration patterns. |
| Required | Experience designing and supporting ETL processes. |
| Required | Familiarity with healthcare data integrations and reporting environments. |
| Required | Experience with REST / SOA development. |
| Required | Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning. |
| Required | Experience writing, executing, and tuning CCL scripts in production environments. |
| Required | Experience with data extraction, system integration, and code development. |
| Required | Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, OCI. |
| Required | Hands on experience developing or supporting services on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI). |
| Preferred | Experience supporting Cerner Millennium environments. |
| Preferred | Prior experience serving as a senior Cerner consultant or technical lead. |
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
