Job Details
We are seeking a Remote Business Systems Analyst III to support our fast-growing healthcare SaaS platform, Pareo®. This senior BSA will gather requirements, analyze healthcare data, create process documentation, and write user stories for enterprise software used by major health plans. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, experience with SQL and data mapping, and a background in healthcare claims or payment integrity. This is a full-time 6-month contract role supporting new client onboarding in Q1. Remote work is available, with preference for Nashville-area candidates.
- Pay Rate: $60/hr (W2)
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: Full-time, remote
Responsibilities:
- Lead interviews, workshops, and cross-functional sessions to gather business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into clear documentation (process flows, technical specs, UI layouts, data mappings)
- Write and refine testable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Support Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with software and QA engineers
- Maintain and refine the product backlog based on team priorities
- Develop user-focused documentation and training materials
- Analyze data from SQL/NoSQL databases and various sources to define requirements and mappings
- Mentor junior and mid-level analysts in best practices
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis
- Experience writing requirements for enterprise-class software solutions
- Strong experience with SQL (or NoSQL) for data querying
- Proven ability to document data mappings, process flows, and technical specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to clarify complex concepts
- Experience working within Scrum, SAFe, or similar Agile frameworks
- Experience writing user stories with testable acceptance criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
