Need a strong EPCC expert, who can drive business transformation and best practices in the EPCC industry.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Job Cost & Contract/Service Billing Expert with strong business process knowledge and hands-on implementation experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing project financial management, billing operations, and ERP-driven workflows— within the EPCC industry.

This role requires a blend of functional expertise, system configuration skills, and cross-functional collaboration to support large-scale project environments.

Key Responsibilities

JD Edwards Functional Expertise

•             Lead implementation and optimization of:

o            Job Cost Management

o            Contract Billing

o            Service Billing

•             Configure and support end-to-end project lifecycle processes:

o            Project setup & budgeting

o            Cost tracking & forecasting

o            Revenue recognition

o            Progress and milestone billing

o            Time & material billing

•             Manage contract structures, billing rules, retainage, and change orders

•             Ensure accurate project financial reporting and compliance

Process & Business Operations

•             Analyze and map business processes for project accounting and billing

•             Recommend and implement process improvements aligned with industry best practices

•             Support integration with related modules:

o            General Ledger

o            Accounts Receivable

o            Procurement

o            Inventory

o            Payroll / Time Entry

•             Collaborate with project controls, finance, and operations teams

Implementation & Support

•             Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements

•             Gather requirements and translate them into system configurations

•             Conduct system testing (SIT/UAT) and support go-live activities

•             Provide user training and documentation

•             Troubleshoot functional issues and optimize system performance

Industry-Specific (EPCC Preferred)

•             Support large-scale capital project accounting

•             Handle complex contract types:

o            Lump Sum

o            Cost Plus

o            Unit Price

o            Time & Material

•             Manage multi-entity, multi-currency project environments

•             Support project controls, WBS structures, and cost breakdowns

Required Qualifications

•             Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

•             15+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience

•             Strong expertise in:

o            Job Cost

o            Contract Billing

o            Service Billing

•             Proven ERP implementation experience

•             Strong understanding of project accounting principles

•             Experience working with cross-functional business teams

Preferred Qualifications

•             Experience in EPCC / Construction / Engineering industries

•             Knowledge of project lifecycle management and project controls

•             Experience with system integrations and reporting tools

•             PMP, CPA, or ERP certifications (nice to have)
