Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer / Architect to support a growing enterprise cloud environment. This role will focus on architecting and managing Azure infrastructure, supporting on-premise to Azure migrations, and helping design the international expansion of an existing Azure environment.

The U.S. Azure architecture is already established. This role will help extend and architect the environment for international regions, while also supporting the day-to-day engineering and administration of the current Azure platform.

This is a hybrid architect/engineer role — candidates should be comfortable both designing Azure architecture and executing hands-on engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect Azure environments to support international expansion
• Support on-premise to Azure migration efforts for infrastructure and applications
• Build and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) and related infrastructure
• Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), networking, and connectivity
• Support and manage Active Directory and Azure AD / identity integrations
• Build and manage Azure B2C environments
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize the existing Azure infrastructure environment
• Support application infrastructure including cloud networking, security, and system performance
• Partner with internal teams to ensure cloud architecture aligns with enterprise standards
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and operational support for the Azure platform

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Experience supporting on-premise to Azure migrations
• Strong experience with:
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Virtual Networks (VNet)
• Azure Active Directory / Identity services
• Azure infrastructure and networking
• Experience designing cloud architecture across multiple regions or international environments
• Ability to work across both architecture design and hands-on engineering tasks
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing global Azure architectures
• Experience supporting enterprise hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with application infrastructure deployments in Azure
