Job Title: Database Administrator 1
Job Location: Decatur, GA
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Responsible for maintaining data integrity, performing audits, and supporting healthcare data systems.
  • The role focuses on identifying and correcting data discrepancies, improving data quality, and ensuring compliance with healthcare documentation and billing standards.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with EHR systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and report generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data auditing and cleanup processes in a healthcare environment.

Experience:

  • Experience working with electronic health record systems.
  • Experience performing data validation, correction, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting healthcare data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data validation and correction for front desk and clinical records.
  • Use SQL queries and reporting tools to identify and resolve data entry errors.
  • Conduct audits on benefit assignments, insurance relationships, and checkout status.
  • Analyze clinical service records for completeness and billing compliance.
  • Identify and correct missing or inaccurate service entries and codes.
  • Ensure proper documentation of diagnoses, office visits, and billing elements.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate patient records to maintain data consistency.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for data entry processes.
  • Maintain accurate records to support reporting and billing activities.

Should Have:

  • Experience in public health or clinical environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing and insurance processes.
  • Knowledge of coding standards and documentation requirements.

Qualification And Education:
