Summary
We are looking for a Data Warehouse Architect 3 to serve as a Platform Administrator for an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) supporting multiple platforms, 7 departments, 10,000+ users, and 40 Terabytes of data.
Position Details
- Location: 515 Westshire Dr., Lansing, MI, 48917
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days a week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays). No fully remote option. Local candidates within 1 hour of Lansing, MI only.
- Interview Process: Virtual via MS Teams Video. Must use a laptop and be prepared to share your screen.
Core Technical Expertise Required (8+ Years)
- Teradata Ecosystem: Teradata Database, Teradata Tools & Utilities (TTU), Viewpoint Administration, and PSIM.
- Platform & Workload Management: Node management, vendor upgrades, patch management, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
- Data & Backup Operations: ETL (Extract Transform Load) development, backup & recovery planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Scripting & OS: Strong Unix/Linux foundations with automated scripting in BASH, Perl, Python, or Glink.
- Cloud & Networking: Cloud computing fundamentals and resource allocation, preferably within MS Azure.
- Security & Federal Compliance: Designing audits and security plans adhering to federal standards like NIST 800-53, IRS Pub 1075, SSA, and Medicaid.
