JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Sr Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator to work from their Charleroi PA facility. We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. AA Degree or certification in manufacturing area preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Confidential security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Sr Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator will perform project tasks/assignments of moderately complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Basically, you'll perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production or pre-production environment by building or integrating hardware for prototypes, assemblies and large complex systems, building RF, multi-function cables and harnesses and soldering ribbons/strip line skills for RF performance.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the manufacturing process, including assembly, inspection, and testing of electronic and mechanical components. The role requires adherence to quality specifications, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting continuous improvement activities.

What you bring to the table: - A High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. An AA Degree or certification in manufacturing area preferred
- Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer device
- Ability to perform more advanced fabrication and marking
- Distinct communication and computer skills
- Solid knowledge of Statistics and SPC applications
