REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
2. Experience with installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of SQL Server
3. Strong knowledge of T-SQL, indexing, query tuning, and performance optimization
4. Experience with high availability solutions such as: Always On Availability Groups and Failover Clustering
5. Experience working in production environments (24x7 or on-call rotation)
Tools:
SSMS, T-SQL, Powershell, SSIS, SSRS,
Experience on SQL Sentry is a plus

Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Install, configure, and manage Microsoft SQL Server instances
2. Perform regular database upgrades, patching, and SQL migrations.
3. Monitor database health, availability, and overall system performance
4. Implement and support high availability solutions (Always On clustering, replication, log shipping)
5. Manage database security, including logins, roles, and permissions and AD groups
6. Work closely with application teams, developers, and Systems infrastructure teams
7. 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator
