Job description:

  • This is a leadership role supporting mission-critical network infrastructure and enterprise networking operations within a highly secure environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network architecture, engineering, security, routing and switching, firewall management, and enterprise network modernization initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure enterprise network infrastructures supporting mission-critical operations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineering teams responsible for enterprise networking solutions.
  • Design, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall technologies across the enterprise environment.
  • Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, implementation plans, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure network environments meet security, scalability, performance, and availability requirements
    Implement and manage network security technologies including IPSec, SSL, and firewall rule management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues while conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support secure enterprise and mission-critical environments while ensuring adherence to organizational and security standards.
  • Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to support infrastructure modernization and network enhancement projects.
    Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure network resiliency and operational continuity
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical direction to engineering team members.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network architecture, performance, and security posture.

  • Active CCNP or CCIE certification required.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification required.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance required.
  • Strong experience with enterprise networking technologies and security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture principles, design methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Experience leading engineering teams and delivering secure, scalable network solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and mission-critical environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with technical and cross-functional teams.
