The Position:
Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC)
Position Title: PTC - GeoAnalytics Project Management Resource Exception (795717)
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA
Duration: Initial term through 06/30/2026 (+ Annual Renewal in 1-Year Terms)
Note: Candidates within a reasonable commuting distance (2-hours/100-miles) of Middletown, PA are preferred. In addition to the PA ePATCH background check, PTC requires a National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) is looking for a GeoAnalytics Project Management Resource, with transportation background and GeoAnalytics project management experience, as well as ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies. ServiceNow Experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules is preferred.
- Manages and coordinates the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity.
- Develops and maintains project plans and other artifacts as required using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
- Coordinates with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope.
- Performs project management duties through the entire project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
- Conducts lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.
- Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
- Adhere to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.
- Perform tasks and other duties as related to this position and role and assigned by the Commission.
The Skills and Experience:
- 5+ Years: Experience in Project Management, GeoAnalytics Project Management; with transportation industry background
- Experience following PMO established standards and procedures (aka Playbook)
- Bachelor s Degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience with Service Now (Idea, Project, and Demand modules) and Azure DevOps
