Summary

Hiring: Senior GIS Solution Lead (Business/Technology)

Location: Sterling, VA / Arlington, VA
Work Mode: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Experience: 7+ Years

We are seeking an experienced Senior GIS Solution Lead to support enterprise GIS initiatives for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.

  • Expertise in enterprise GIS solutions, spatial data management, geodatabases, and spatial analytics.

  • Experience integrating GIS with IBM Maximo, Workday/HRMS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.

  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, web services, SQL, spatial databases, and data synchronization.

  • Experience in GIS solution design, application modernization, technology roadmaps, and data governance.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in asset management, transportation, or utilities.

  • Esri GIS or IBM Maximo certifications.

  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, cloud technologies, and GIS automation.

Work Requirements: Candidates must be available onsite four days per week across Sterling and Arlington, Virginia, and complete the required background investigation and airport security badge process.
