WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll join our Technology Services Group (TSG) Support & End-User Engineering team within the Technology function. This team plays a critical role in enabling Bain employees by delivering reliable, high-quality IT support and ensuring seamless day-to-day technology operations across the firm.

WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As an Associate, TSG Support, you will serve as a key point of contact for Bain employees seeking assistance with IT-related issues. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software challenges while delivering a high level of customer service and helping maintain the systems and processes that support Bain's global technology environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Serve as the primary contact for IT-related problems and issues for Bain employees
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software and operating systems
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on computer systems
  • Maintain accurate inventory databases, repair logs, and activity logs
  • Enforce TSG guidelines and policies
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors
  • Work with other TSG staff to test new applications and system upgrades
  • Support the development of end-user training programs

ABOUT YOU
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience in IT support, technical support, or customer service environments
  • Demonstrated interest and aptitude in technology and technical problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Previous corporate experience preferred
  • Experience in a customer service or technical support role preferred

This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 4 days per week.

U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain's best in class benefits package (details listed below).

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:

In Chicago, IL, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $53,250 - $64,000; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level

Annual discretionary performance bonus

This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation

4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
