Role: ODS & API Developer

Remote

Required Technical Skill Set: MongoDB, Apache Kafka, Java (Spring Boot), Microservices Architecture, REST API Development, API Gateway

Must-Have Skills:

·       Strong working knowledge of MongoDB (NoSQL concepts, aggregation, indexing)

·       Experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, event streaming)

·       Exposure to API security (OAuth2, JWT) and best practices

·       Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and RESTful API development

·       Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture and design patterns

Good-to-Have Skills

·       Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes (containerization)

·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

·       Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)

·       Experience with API Gateway and service mesh

Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role

·       Design and develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot)

·       Build and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka

·       Design and implement high-performance data solutions using MongoDB

·       Develop secure and reusable APIs following enterprise standards

·       Integrate APIs with external and internal applications

·       Work on API Gateway configuration and management

·       Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

·       Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders

·       Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support

·       Implement best practices for API security, monitoring, and logging

·       Support CI/CD implementation and containerized deployments

·       Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides
