Job Title: CMM Programmer
Pay Rate: $35.00-45.00/hour (potential sign on bonus)

This role will be responsible for writing and re writing CMM inspection programs, using Calypso, for piece part, sample plan, and FAI inspection of critical and complex Aerospace components. This will be an onsite programming role that may include some CMM operation. The ideal candidate will have strong GD&T knowledge, experience with machined Aerospace components, and a poka-yoke mindset to ensure robust and repeatable inspection routines.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop CMM programs from 3D models/3D model base definition for Zeiss CMM utilizing Calypso.
* Interpret GD&T for inspection planning
* Write new programs from old programs and understand operations being combined and manufactured with new technology machines.
* Help develop efficient setups and programs
* Validate and improve repeatability and reproducibility of CMM routines
* Work and communicate with process engineers, machinists, and management in the development of CMM programs, set ups, and reproducibility/repeatability
Core Qualifications
* Strong understanding of complex component metrology
* Advanced GD&T knowledge including complex datum structures and iterative alignments
* Proficiency in Calypso
* Demonstrated ability to write robust, crash-resistant CMM programs
* Experience with Gage R&R
* Strong shop math and problem-solving skills
* Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor"s degree in engineering, math, or computer science
* VBA or Python programming skills
* Background with aerospace components
* Experience with Siemens NX solid models
* Experience supporting CMM operations in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
