Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in both cloud environments and bare-metal infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing physical servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud-native systems, along with container orchestration and enterprise storage solutions.
This role requires a hybrid skillset across data center operations, cloud platforms, virtualization, and modern container ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
Bare Metal & Data Center Operations
Manage and maintain bare metal servers in enterprise environments.
Perform server provisioning, hardware troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
Utilize HP iLO (Integrated Lights-Out) for remote server management and diagnostics.
Virtualization & Compute Management
Manage virtualized environments using KVM and Apache CloudStack.
Provision, configure, and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs).
Ensure optimal utilization of compute resources.
Containerization & Orchestration
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s).
Work with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management.
Ensure cluster performance, scalability, and reliability.
Storage & Data Management
Manage enterprise storage solutions, particularly NetApp systems.
Handle storage provisioning, backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
Optimize storage performance and capacity planning.
Automation & Scripting
Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
Troubleshoot issues across hardware, virtualization, cloud, and container layers.
Security & Compliance
Implement infrastructure security best practices.
Manage access controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
8+ years of experience in infrastructure / cloud administration
Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
Proven expertise in Bare Metal Server Management
Hands-on experience with HP iLO for remote server operations
Strong experience in KVM Virtualization
Practical knowledge of Apache CloudStack
Solid experience in Virtual Machine (VM) provisioning and management
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management
Strong experience with NetApp storage solutions
Scripting experience using Python / Bash / PowerShell
Strong understanding of Networking (DNS, VLANs, Load Balancers, TCP/IP)
Experience with Monitoring & Troubleshooting tools
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience in Hybrid or Multi-Cloud environments
