Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm
Position Summary The End User Computing (EUC) Manager is responsible for the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of all end-user devices and services, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and virtual endpoint technologies. This role leads engineering, deployment, and support teams while ensuring employees across the organization receive a secure, reliable, and high-quality computing experience.
The EUC Manager oversees cloud computing, automation, maintenance, operations, product release support, and end-user experience initiatives. This position acts as a technical leader for all Windows, macOS, and iOS device support and is recognized as a subject matter expert for complex enterprise endpoint solutions.
Responsibilities Technology Management - Execute the enterprise EUC strategy aligned with the digital experience roadmap and organizational goals.
- Manage the full lifecycle of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual endpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and develop EUC engineering, deployment, and support teams.
- Own endpoint management platforms including MDM/MAM, patching, vulnerability management, and software distribution.
- Ensure compliance with security procedures and software licensing.
- Oversee ticketing system performance and customer experience standards.
- Define PC standards, policies, and procedures; recommend technology upgrades.
- Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams on end-user service delivery.
- Manage budgets, vendors, contracts, and licensing.
- Drive standardization, automation, and operational maturity across all endpoint services.
Staff Management & Development - Partner with IT leadership on performance, training, scheduling, and operational issues.
- Ensure adequate staffing to meet mission objectives.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
- Oversee ongoing team training and skill development.
- Promote teamwork and healthy organizational culture.
- Prepare, manage, and assess budget performance.
- Develop staffing plans and forecast future needs.
- Prioritize work based on resource availability and customer impact.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Maintain quality control for people, processes, and tools.
- Establish departmental policies, procedures, mission, and goals.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, coach, and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Set productivity and quality standards; monitor progress.
- Recognize team achievements and lead regular team meetings and reporting.
Project Management - Act as a functional project manager on assigned initiatives.
- Assign resources, develop plans, and ensure milestone completion.
- Support departmental project management methodologies.
- Hold teams accountable to PMO standards.
Other Responsibilities - Respond to work-related communication promptly.
- Lead or participate in committees.
- Maintain ongoing professional development.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
