Role Summary
This position provides high-volume customer service support in a fast-paced call center environment, with a focus on mortgage servicing inquiries. The role is responsible for handling inbound customer calls efficiently and professionally while providing accurate information and a positive customer experience. This is a temporary staffing position with the potential for continued employment based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to a high volume of inbound customer calls related to mortgage servicing.
- Provide accurate information and assist with resolving customer inquiries while maintaining established quality and service standards.
- Document customer interactions accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet established call center metrics and service-level expectations.
- Follow applicable compliance, privacy, and confidentiality requirements related to mortgage servicing and customer information.
- Support team coverage and operational transitions to help maintain a consistent customer experience.
- Participate in required training to stay current on company procedures, systems, and applicable mortgage servicing standards.
- Assist with additional customer service responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain professional, respectful, and customer-focused communication during all interactions.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on service quality, operational goals, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or call center experience required; mortgage servicing experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a high volume of customer interactions.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet the position's established start date and training requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work 100% onsite at the Irving, Texas location.
- Demonstrated dependability, accountability, and ability to meet established performance expectations.
- Ability to work the required call center schedule and accommodate business-related scheduling needs.
- Experience with mortgage servicing processes or related industry knowledge is preferred.
Publishing Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
