Must-Have**

• In depth domain knowledge of US Capital Markets
• Proficient in different asset classes (Listed equities, fixed income, physical securities, derivatives etc.) in US markets.
• Experience and Subject Matter Expertise of the key processing requirements around
  • CCP processing for nettling, clearance, novation and obligations
  • Equity clearing and Listed Options clearing
  • Allocation and contract note generations
  • Confirmation /Affirmation process
  • OMGEO CTM / OASYS processing
  • Net obligation Payment
  • OCC collateral pledging and Repo processing capabilities
  • DTC/FED Settlements
• Experience in International settlement capabilities via CCP and others, including Multi-Currency asset keeping and associated processing
• Understanding of market nuances to enable Identification and documentation and mapping of High-level requirements around market requirements for US market functionalities
• Lead the due diligence client workshop discussions from a market practice and operational requirements perspective
• Define, maintain, and track to completion the enhancements to existing process as well as gaps with reference to US market practice
• Solution approach review and approval of the approach meeting the market requirements as per market requirements.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel
• Strong analytical and problem solving capability
• Ability to translate regulations and market rules into system logic
• Excellent stakeholder communication (business & technical)

Good-to-Have

• Experience in Software Development Life cycle/Methodologies
• Exposure of working in Product Companies

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Act as SME for DTCC entities and services, including:
  • DTC (Depository Trust Company)
  • NSCC (National Securities Clearing Corporation)
  • FICC (GSD & MBSD - Government & Mortgage-Backed Securities)
• Provide expertise on:
  • Trade lifecycle: Trade capture Comparison Netting Settlement
  • CNS (Continuous Net Settlement) processing
  • ID Net / Balance Order Accounting
  • Stock loan, repo, Pledge ,collateral , DRS and DWAC processing
• Support DTCC message standards, including:
  • ISO 15022 (MT54x, MT56x)
  • ISO 20022 (MX migration and coexistence)
• Act as SME for Federal Reserve cash settlement mechanisms, including:
  • Fedwire Securities Service
• Act as an SME for the business requirements, discuss with customer the market naunaces, manage customer requirement and enable solution alignment as per Regulatory & Market Practice
  • SEC, FINRA, and Federal Reserve regulations impacting settlements
  • Reg SHO, settlement discipline, fails management
  • DTCC mandatory reclaims, fails charges, and liquidity risk management
  • Fed operational risk and resiliency guidelines
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to:
  • Define business requirements and functional specifications
  • Review solution designs for DTCC/Fed alignment
  • Validate settlement models during platform modernization
• Functional & Messaging Knowledge of
  • ISO 15022 (MT54x, MT56x, MT5xx)
  • ISO 20022 MX settlement messages
  • SWIFT, DTCC connectivity, Fedwire formats
  • DTC Legacy ISO 20022 migration programs
  • DTCC modernization and Fed infrastructure changes
• Provide sign off on:
  • Business rules
  • Settlement logic
  • Exception and repair workflows
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement by being a senior SME in Client workshops and solution walkthroughs
