The Team This role will lead a team of analysts that is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Workday for our firm. As an established Workday customer, we are continually adding new modules, enhancing existing functionality, and helping our users get the most out of Workday. The current modules in use at A&M are HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence. The ability to mentor, train, and positively motivate a team is extremely important for the long-term success of this position. The ideal candidate is both hands-on in the tenant and a strategic leader.
How you will contribute - Lead the day-to-day activities of the HRIS team while developing, coaching, and providing feedback to the team.
- Manages changes end-to-end, including requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment. Understands the importance of change management to facilitate the transition to new technology and processes.
- Manages production support cases including triage, assignments to the team and caseload monitoring. Manages timely resolution combined with exceptional customer service. Recommends root cause solutions for repeat cases.
- Partners with teams such as HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, IT, and others to provide support for requests such as enhancements, defects, and new functionality.
- Frequently provides status updates on 'in progress' work items or projects assigned.
- Maintains technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.
- Consult on the proper use of solution functionality including previously enabled reports and configuration.
- Manage Workday bi-annual releases, coordinating testing with SMEs and business stakeholders, assessing the impact of new features and communicating new functionality.
Qualifications - Experience leading diverse and dynamic teams. Minimum five years of HR technical experience with progressive responsibility including participating in HRIS module implementations required. Minimum 3-years experience in Workday.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
- Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations. Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to work within a team environment with global team members and time-zones.
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Customer service oriented with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations and deliver an excellent experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

The salary range is $160,000 - $170,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
