Job Title: OFP Quality Engineer
Location: Davenport, IA 52809
Assignment Length: 18 months + (Possible Extension)

Shift: 1st Shift Hours are flexible between 6am & 5pm
40hr/week position
Will there be OT? (if yes, how much OT do you anticipate per week) Yes, overtime & Saturdays as needed.
Metatarsal Safety Boots will be required

Must Haves:
Proven Communication Skills Need someone who can communicate with the floor and with management
Someone who is result driven Need someone who can work independently and complete projects following the problem resolution methodology
Experience working in a team environment Want someone who can be accountable to a team and hold other team members accountable to ensure we are able to meet our quality goals.
Education Preferred: Engineering Degree, any discipline
Years of Experience Required: 1+, Like to have someone who has been in a factory environment before or who has worked in an engineering discipline. Internships are acceptable as experience.
Work Duties:
Support factory operation for our Fabrication departments. This includes responding to process and part quality issues to ensure robust and effective delivery of high-quality products to the vehicle lines. This includes containment, short-term corrective actions, root cause analysis, and driving for permanent long-term corrective actions and mistake proofing. This position will be required to maintain and update quality documentation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work and prioritize in a fast-paced environment are critical for success in this position. Success in this role will require clear and consistent communication to operators and support staff.
