Location: Local DMV Only (Washington DC )

Interview: Skype + F2F (Client may request an in-person interview. Candidates must be available to attend if selected)
Duration: 12+ months

Job Description -

The selected Scrum Master will support the CRAFT team in adopting Agile best practices, removing impediments, and ensuring the successful delivery of an examiner workflow tool. This tool will replace and enhance a legacy system while leveraging AWS cloud services.

The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, focusing on team facilitation, backlog management, impediment resolution, Agile coaching, and continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, development teams, and management to foster an Agile mindset and support successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Computing Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading projects or major business initiatives.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT portfolio management and customer relationship management.
• One of the following certifications (or equivalent): preferred
  • PMP Certification
  • PMI-ACP
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

Required Capabilities

• Experience coaching and engaging product teams to promote self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work closely with Product Owners to effectively scope and plan current and future work.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience with Agile practices such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
• Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master during Agile transformation initiatives.
