Job DetailsWe are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support AIA progress billings, accounts receivable, collections, and lien releases in a construction environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and process AIA progress billings, T&M billings, and change orders.
- Ensure billings align with contract terms, schedules of values, and approvals.
- Monitor AR aging and support collections and dispute resolution.
- Apply cash receipts and resolve unapplied or short payments.
- Prepare, issue, and track conditional and unconditional lien releases.
- Support month-end close, AR reconciliations, and WIP reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
- 3+ years of construction accounting experience required.
- Hands-on experience with AIA progress billings required.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with construction or project-based ERP systems (COINS, Sage, Vista, etc.).
