Salesforce Developer

Responsibilities

• Hands-on CRM development, including coding and delivering user stories.
• Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and future enhancements.
• Ensure technical requirements align with customer needs and performance goals, consistent with the client''s long-term strategy.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code.
• Oversee technical aspects of project environments.
• Compile and ensure adherence to internal development guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with developers of other systems for business integration.
• Ensure solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
• Communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level, providing a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
• Devise a training plan for a smooth transition to Maintenance & Operations.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salesforce Expertise

• Strong knowledge and working experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations.
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints.
• Strong experience in writing Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
• Implement solutions using configurations such as Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
• Work with technical managers, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using REST APIs.
• Proficiency in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services.
• Experience in implementing authentication protocols to integrate third-party applications.
• Successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.
• Ownership of all technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program.
• Define and manage technical change management processes for Salesforce technology efforts.
• Assess Salesforce.com architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions.
• Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms.
• Support SFDX development, branch management, merging, and code deployment using Azure DevOps CI/CD process.
• Identify risks and issues from a technical perspective.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
• 6 years of strong Salesforce development experience.
• 4 years of experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• 5 years of experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.
• 2 years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On implementations.
• Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or comparable tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, or release management.
• Exposure to data migration and/or cloud integration projects.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Experience with Conga and Drawloop.
• Familiarity with governmental processes and compliance, including experience with FedRAMP-compliant tools and environments.
