Position: OT / Facilities Systems Delivery Engineer

Location: Waukegan, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Duration: Contract through December 2026

Job Summary:

Seeking a delivery-focused engineer to support and own facility and operational technology systems across an enterprise environment. This role sits at the intersection of IT and OT, supporting system lifecycle activities including upgrades, end-of-life planning, proof of concepts, and risk-managed technology delivery. The ideal candidate is hands-on technically, strong in documentation and communication, and able to lead system delivery while collaborating with facilities, IT, security, and vendors.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience supporting OT, facilities, or building systems (alarms, sensors, BAS, instrumentation)
• Strong understanding of IT system lifecycle (SLC) and change management
• Hands-on experience with system upgrades, PoCs, and system compatibility validation
• Ability to document system changes, risks, and decisions clearly
• Understanding of IoT/OT concepts and integration with IT systems
• Strong communication and delivery ownership mindset

Responsibilities:

• Own delivery and lifecycle management of facility and OT systems
• Plan and execute system, server, and application upgrades
• Lead proof of concepts and validate new technologies with minimal risk
• Create and maintain lifecycle, change, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with vendors, facilities, IT, and security teams
• Communicate status, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders
