QA Integration Developer

 

The QA/Document Reviewer is responsible for performing detailed quality reviews of project deliverables related to Medicaid and Integrated Eligibility (IE) IT systems. This role ensures that all documents submitted to the client are accurate, complete, consistent, and compliant with project standards, state Medicaid guidelines, and contractual requirements. The reviewer works closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to identify gaps, correct errors, and maintain high-quality documentation across the project lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
Review and validate project deliverables including requirements documents, design specifications, test plans, test cases, data mappings, user guides, and status reports.
Ensure all documents meet quality standards for clarity, completeness, grammar, formatting, and internal consistency.
Verify alignment of deliverables with Medicaid program rules, system functionality, and project scope.
Check for compliance with state-specific Medicaid policies, federal guidelines, and project templates.
Identify defects, inconsistencies, missing information, and risks within documentation.
Provide clear, actionable feedback to authors and track corrections through completion.
Collaborate with SMEs, BA/QA teams, and technical leads to validate accuracy of content.
Maintain version control and ensure proper document naming, formatting, and metadata.
Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation is organized, traceable, and compliant.
Participate in internal quality gates prior to client submission.
Assist in developing and refining document templates, checklists, and quality standards.
Ensure timely turnaround of reviews to support project schedules and deliverable deadlines.

Review Medicaid policy references, eligibility rules, and system workflows for accuracy.
Validate traceability across requirements, design, test cases, and outcomes.
Support UAT documentation review and readiness assessments.
Assist with deliverable packaging and submission processes.
Provide coaching to team members on documentation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience reviewing documentation for Medicaid, Integrated Eligibility, SNAP/TANF, or other health and human services IT programs.
Strong understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and documentation standards.
Excellent written communication, grammar, and editing skills.
Ability to analyze technical and functional content for accuracy and completeness.
Familiarity with requirements, design, and testing artifacts used in large IT projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and document management tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Medicaid modernization, NextGen IE systems, MMIS modules, or eligibility rules engines.
Knowledge of CMS guidelines, MITA, or state-specific Medicaid frameworks.
Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Experience supporting QA, BA, or PMO functions in government IT projects.
