🔹 POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building and optimizing data pipelines, data architectures, ETL processes, IICS, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.

The Data Engineer will work closely with software developers, database architects, data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing data delivery.

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

  • Assemble large, complex data sets based on functional and non-functional business requirements.

  • Automate manual processes and optimize data delivery for scalability.

  • Build ETL/ELT infrastructure using IICS, SQL, and AWS Big Data technologies.

  • Build analytics tools supporting Facility Master, operational efficiency, and business performance metrics.

  • Work with Reltio MDM; Reltio integration experience is a strong bonus.

  • Partner with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams on data-related technical issues.

  • Maintain secure data separation across national boundaries, data centers, and AWS regions.

  • Develop data tools for analytics and data science teams.

  • Troubleshoot data workflow issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions.

  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to improve pipeline runtimes and deliver defect-free code.

  • Perform root cause analysis on data and processes.

  • Support Tier 3 IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support.

  • Support audit and compliance reporting requests.

  • Support Snowflake products in a 24/7 operational environment as needed.

  • Provide production support during emergencies.

  • Participate in a 24x7 weekly on-call rotation for Informatica operations.

  • Follow Company SDLC policies and practices.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

🔹 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.

  • 3+ years of experience with:

    • Data Warehousing

    • ETL Development

    • ETL Architecture

    • IICS / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services

    • Snowflake

    • dbt Development

  • 3+ years of experience with database technologies, including combinations of:

    • RDBMS: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle

    • NoSQL: MarkLogic, Snowflake, DynamoDB, Redis

  • 3 years of experience working on large-scale data initiatives involving 5+ TB of data.

  • Advanced SQL knowledge, including query development and relational databases.

  • Strong experience building and optimizing IICS data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.

  • Experience building data transformation processes, data structures, metadata, dependencies, and workload management.

  • Experience identifying data/process issues and performing root cause analysis.

  • Working knowledge of Git, SVN, or other version control systems.

  • AWS: 1+ year of experience.

  • DevOps Practices: 1+ year of experience.

  • Reltio MDM integration experience

  • AWS Big Data technologies

  • Strong Snowflake + dbt experience

  • Experience with large-scale 5+ TB+ data environments

  • Experience supporting production data platforms and 24x7 operations

  • Experience working with distributed/onshore-offshore teams

🔥 IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Data Engineer who can independently design, build, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise data pipelines while working effectively with multiple technical and business teams.

Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
AZ working hours are preferred.
