Assistant Retail Pharmacy Manager

We are looking for a driven assistant retail pharmacy manager to join our team! Directly lead front end staff while supporting Store Manager. Successful candidate is responsible for front end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety, driving sales and most importantly providing world class customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacys retail/front-end area.
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure all front-end associates provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service.
• Support retail sales goals by identifying opportunities to improve product selection, merchandising, promotions, and the overall customer experience.
• Monitor retail performance and work with management to identify opportunities to increase sales and control expenses.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and customer-ready sales floor.
• Oversee merchandise recovery and ensure shelves, displays, promotional areas, and checkout areas are properly maintained.
• Assist with merchandising, including product placement, displays, signage, pricing, seasonal transitions, staging merchandise and promotional setups.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, replenishment, identifying slow-moving merchandise, and minimizing out-of-stocks and excess inventory.
• Monitor product expiration dates and ensure expired, damaged, or unsellable merchandise is removed and handled appropriately.
• Stay informed of retail and consumer trends and recommend new products, merchandising opportunities, and initiatives that may increase front-end sales.
• Assist in planning and executing in-store promotions, seasonal programs, community initiatives and other marketing activities designed to drive customer engagement and retail sales.
• Support the creation and execution of social media content and other marketing initiatives in coordination with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the store.
