Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in C++, Linux system programming, and embedded networking. The individual will provide technical leadership to developers, drive code quality and performance improvements, support architectural decisions, and contribute to the delivery of complex embedded systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers working on embedded networking and Linux-based systems.
- Conduct comprehensive C++ and Linux code reviews and promote coding standards, maintainability, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and support debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
- Evaluate technical alternatives, assess architectural risks, and contribute to feasibility studies and project estimations.
- Support software development lifecycle compliance, technical discussions, and engineering reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, communicate status, identify risks, and help resolve technical escalations.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong C++ programming and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on Linux system programming and operating system fundamentals.
- Solid embedded networking knowledge and experience.
- Experience with storage systems and/or distributed storage.
- Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
- Multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and thread-safety concepts.
- GDB debugging and troubleshooting.
- Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, code reviews, and coding standards.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
