Overview:
Location: Albany, NY
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Application Developer who will support our client with the development of an enterprise application on an Oracle PeopleSoft platform. This role will be expected to collaborate with an in-house development team to build, enhance, and support a modernized retirement benefits administration solution. This role contributes across the development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and production support.

Duties:

Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PeopleSoft application components to support business processes.
Create and modify PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and related PeopleSoft artifacts to deliver new functionality and resolve defects.
Write and optimize SQL against PeopleSoft data structures; analyze data issues and performance concerns.
Produce technical design documentation and unit test scripts; execute unit testing and support defect resolution through deployment.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to estimate work, track progress, and deliver on agreed timelines.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education.
4+ years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
4+ years of experience using SQL over PeopleSoft data structures.
2+ years of experience using PeopleTools 8.57 or higher.
2+ years of experience creating technical design documents and unit test scripts.

Desirable Qualifications:

4+ years of experience implementing or supporting an Oracle PeopleSoft implementation.
