As an Inventory Specialist / Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring technicians and project teams have the materials, equipment, and tools needed to keep operations running efficiently. This is a highly visible role with opportunities to gain exposure to logistics, procurement, inventory control, construction operations, and data center support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory for a large data center operation.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
  • Coordinate material movement and logistics throughout the facility.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Track material usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support procurement activities by assisting with material ordering, tracking purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to technicians and project teams.
  • Utilize Excel and inventory management systems for reporting and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

  • Learn inventory processes, warehouse layout, and material flow procedures.
  • Become proficient in inventory management systems and reporting tools.
  • Build relationships with technicians, project managers, procurement teams, and vendors.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory control activities.

Days 31-60
  • Independently manage inventory transactions and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate deliveries and material requests with minimal supervision.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
  • Support procurement efforts by tracking orders and ensuring material availability.

Days 61-90
  • Take ownership of inventory accuracy and logistics coordination responsibilities.
  • Develop process improvements to improve inventory visibility and material tracking.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for inventory and material availability.
  • Help ensure project teams receive materials on time to support operational goals.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
