Job Description:

• Our client is expanding its Innovation Design team globally to develop next-generation health solutions. The team works collaboratively to understand early user needs and design strategic solutions that enhance education and clinical settings.
• We are seeking a Senior UX Designer II to lead cross-functional, time-bound innovation projects. The ideal candidate balances speed and precision, makes data-driven decisions, and takes calculated risks. • This role emphasizes Generative AI (GenAI)–enabled solutions across business and product lines. You will quickly gain a deep understanding of user and business needs, align stakeholders around AI-driven solutions, and drive the design process with a "just enough” approach to foster innovation.

Responsibilities:

Discovery & Research:

• Lead projects exploring user needs, market conditions, and internal constraints to identify innovation opportunities.
• Define and apply appropriate Innovation Design methodologies, including AI-augmented research and prototyping, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Create multi-method testing plans in collaboration with researchers, blending qualitative and quantitative approaches to inform design decisions.
• Synthesize insights from user, customer, and business perspectives into actionable design strategies, emphasizing AI-assisted experiences.

Collaboration & Facilitation:

• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams, exploring how GenAI can enhance client value propositions and design concepts.
• Coordinate creation and presentation of project learnings and key updates for diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and responsible, ethical AI use in design.
• Mentor team members in Innovation Design methodologies and GenAI-powered design workflows.

Strategic Design:

• Apply methodologies such as Design Thinking or Lean Startup to uncover user insights and validate product propositions, integrating AI where it accelerates research, ideation, and validation.
• Collaborate with UX Researchers to leverage insights and explore AI-enabled methods for rapid synthesis and testing.
• Contribute to strategic directions for customer-facing products, focusing on how AI can create scalable, differentiated solutions.

Creative Problem Solving:

• Engage stakeholders in product innovation approaches to deliver value and growth, encouraging creativity and decision-making.
• Challenge conventional thinking with confidence, identifying opportunities where GenAI can transform user experiences.
• Foster collaboration, valuing diverse perspectives while encouraging responsible experimentation.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies and implications for design.
• Proficient in design software (Figma, Sketch, Axure).
• Familiarity with general AI tools (ChatGPT, Notebook LM, MidJourney) and AI-specific design tools (Lovable, Cursor) is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX or Innovation Designer, leading cross-functional, time-bound projects and validating user needs/product-market fit.
• Exposure to GenAI applications in research, design, or prototyping workflows preferred.
• Business literacy and understanding of large-scale organizational operations.
• Familiarity with Agile, Innovation methodologies, and user-centered design processes.
• Experience with design software (Figma, Sketch) preferred.
