Job Description

We are seeking a Senior MongoDB Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience to support enterprise MongoDB environments running on IBM Z / Linux ONE (s390x) and Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer, configure, upgrade, and maintain enterprise MongoDB environments.

•Manage Replica Sets, Sharding, Replication, High Availability, Backup/Recovery, and disaster recovery.

•Perform MongoDB performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity management.

•Implement database security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and access controls.

•Support MongoDB migrations, upgrades, patching, and production deployments.

•Collaborate with IBM Z/Linux ONE, Linux, infrastructure, storage, network, and application teams.

•Automate DBA activities using Shell, Python, or similar scripting technologies.

•Provide production support, documentation, root-cause analysis, and technical guidance.

Required Skills

•10+ years of database administration/engineering experience.

•Strong hands-on MongoDB DBA experience.

•Experience with MongoDB on IBM Z / Linux ONE (s390x).

•Expertise in MongoDB replication, sharding, indexing, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security.

•Strong troubleshooting, communication, and production-support skills.
