In this role, you will architect, organize, and govern the acquisition of critical, high-dollar strategic assets and services that directly affect the enterprise''''s bottom line. What You’ll Do
Champion the structuring, negotiation, and administration of sophisticated international purchasing agreements to maximize financial efficiency and secure robust distribution channels.
Steer a high-performing supply network to advance organizational targets centered on spend reduction, capital optimization, service fluidity, and technical evolution.
Cultivate transparent, collaborative relationships with vendor networks while proactively investigating operational friction and influencing suppliers toward swift remediation.
Oversee comprehensive vendor health assessments, including site evaluations, risk-mitigation audits, and the compilation of rigorous performance metrics.
Synthesize cross-functional insights during early-stage product design, facilitating sample acquisition and supervising the strict qualification criteria for all incoming manufacturing materials.
Formulate predictive inventory targets and monitor supply-chain fluctuations to mitigate materials obsolescence and scrap liabilities.
Drive the continuous improvement of current and future vendor-integrated inventory methodologies across manufacturing networks.
Liaise directly with design, finance, quality assurance, and distribution teams to inject market intelligence and material trends into long-term technology roadmaps.
Navigate external variables affecting commercial performance, including geopolitical shifts, transport fluctuations, and environmental regulations.
Direct day-to-day work flows for standard purchasing personnel, offering strategic counsel relative to supplier relationships and procurement standards.
Execute compliance protocols involving international shipping documentation, including certificates of origin and the classification of import tariffs.
What You Bring
Architect of large-scale commercial contracts with a minimum of 7 to 20 years of verifiable success managing intricate purchasing ecosystems, vendor alignments, and asset acquisition.
Demonstrated capacity to mentor staff, direct cross-functional teams, and successfully influence multi-tiered internal and external stakeholders.
Deep commercial literacy regarding electrical and mechanical apparatuses, paired with the analytical skill to evaluate specialized manufacturing processes.
Advanced operational knowledge spanning Manufacturing Requirements Planning, enterprise resource platforms like JD Edwards, global distribution networks, and cross-border commercial contract law.
Comprehensive command of the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced execution within Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Proven competency piloting intricate corporate initiatives from initial conception through deployment and auditing phases.
Academic foundation consisting of a University Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a closely aligned technical discipline.
Flexibility to engage in necessary domestic and selective international travel to vendor sites.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Annual Salary: $130,000 - $135,000
