We are looking for an experienced SAP Funds Management (FM) Lead with hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will drive solution design, configuration, and delivery for public sector clients — particularly state and local government organizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate and lead workshops to elicit, document, and validate business requirements from client stakeholders
• Own the design of FM master data structures and ensure proper alignment with related Finance module objects
• Configure SAP FM Best Practices in the development environment to support Fit-to-Standard workshops, including master data setup, derivation rules, budget execution, and availability control
• Perform data mapping and lead data conversion activities throughout project lifecycle
• Collaborate on functional specifications and provide hands-on support during testing phases (unit, integration, UAT)
• Manage FM integration touchpoints across Grants Management, Procurement, HXM, Concur, and other relevant functional areas
• Leverage standard FM reports and build custom analytical queries to meet client reporting needs
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations with a focus on Funds Management
• Strong command of FM configuration: master data, budget execution, derivation rules, and availability control
• Solid understanding of FM integration with adjacent SAP modules and third-party tools (Grants Management, Procurement, HXM, Concur)
• Demonstrated experience in public sector projects, preferably with state and/or local government clients
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Signavio Process Manager for creating and documenting process flows
• Familiarity with SAP Best Practices activation and Fit-to-Standard workshop facilitation
