Job Title: IT Project Manager (Automation And API Integration)

Job Location: Petersburg, VA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Refine business cases in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders.
Establish and communicate measurable project benefits and objectives.
Define and clarify project scope through early analysis with subject matter experts.
Develop project timelines, resource plans, and cost estimates.
Lead vendor selection, bid evaluation, and contract coordination with procurement teams.
Ensure financial accountability through purchase order management, invoicing, and cost forecasting.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
Manage and coordinate internal and external resources to achieve project goals.
Align projects with global programs and share best practices across teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation practices.
Lead cross-functional teams and oversee change control and validation activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support system commissioning processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and timelines.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor and control project performance, including budget and schedule adherence.
Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation standards.
Drive change control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate project updates and performance to stakeholders.

Requirement/Must Have:

Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum two years of project management, project support, or change management experience.
Experience in IT or manufacturing automation environments.

Skills:

Strong project management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of infrastructure services and manufacturing automation systems.
Understanding of documentation practices and change control processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
