SAS Developer || Remote || W2 Role

Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience

·         Strong SAS Base programming experience.

·         Strong SQL skills.

·         Hands-on QA/testing experience, including test planning, test case development, execution, defect management, and documentation.

·         Experience testing ETL processes, reporting, and data integrations.

·         Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

·         Experience using Jira, TestRail, or comparable defect/test-management tools.

·         Working knowledge of Linux.

·         Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to independently investigate issues and ask effective clarifying questions.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Experience presenting testing results and recommendations to customers and project stakeholders.

·         Ability to work collaboratively while operating independently with minimal guidance once onboarded.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, along with appropriate professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Previous experience working with Medicaid data.

·         Experience with SAS Visual Analytics (VA), SAS Viya, and/or SAS Studio.

·         Strong ETL testing background.

·         SAS 9.4 Base Programmer Certification.
