Required Skills & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in telecom construction (OSP/ISP fiber)
  • 3-5+ years in a leadership role managing teams or managers
  • Strong experience with fiber optic construction practices and materials
  • Proven ability to manage largescale construction projects end-to-end
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to read and interpret construction prints and engineering designs
  • Strong vendor management and field coordination experience
  • Experience working with municipalities, permitting, and ROW processes
  • Proficiency with project tracking and reporting tools
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience building fiber networks to data centers
  • Background working with large telecom or infrastructure providers
  • Familiarity with GIS and construction management systems
  • Experience managing multiregion or high-volume deployments
What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities
  • Oversee fiber construction projects from planning through completion
  • Manage and mentor a team of construction managers and field personnel
  • Coordinate with vendors, inspectors, and municipalities to ensure progress
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and overall performance
  • Conduct site visits and make realtime decisions to keep projects on track
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety, and quality expectations
  • Track project milestones and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Support permitting and engineering teams to resolve issues and delays
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status
