Summary:

The Operations Workforce Analyst serves as a business partner to Primary Care and School Health operations, providing workforce planning, provider resource management, operational analytics, reporting, compensation and contract support, and analytical support to inform decision making. This role gathers, validates, analyzes, and interprets operational and provider data to identify trends, inform workforce and business decisions, and improve efficiency, access, quality, patient outcomes, and overall performance. The Analyst collaborates with operational leaders, physician leadership, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and other stakeholders to support effective provider deployment, accurate workforce information, contract management, and operational planning.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations that provide actionable insight into operational, provider, productivity, access, quality, and performance metrics.
2. Gather, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to identify trends, variances, opportunities, and risks, providing recommendations to improve operational performance and efficiency.
3. Provide data and analysis to support provider workforce planning, resource allocation, productivity, panel management, scheduling, access, compensation, and business planning activities.
4. Maintain visibility to provider contract status, milestones, amendments, renewals, compensation updates, and outstanding actions, coordinating with operational leadership, Legal, Human Resources, Finance, and other stakeholders to support timely resolution.
5. Provide analytical and operational support for provider onboarding, offboarding, practice transitions, and other workforce changes affecting scheduling, panel assignments, reporting, compensation, contracts, and operational readiness.
6. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, business planning, practice growth, acquisitions, regional expansion, and provider resource planning by preparing analyses, modeling scenarios, and providing decision support to operational leaders.
7. Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, operational workflows, and communication across provider operations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and related functions.
8. Manage scheduled and ad hoc reporting and analysis requests, prioritizing work to deliver accurate, timely, and leadership-ready information that supports operational decision-making.
9. Collaborate with department leaders and physician leadership to assess performance, interpret data, evaluate operational needs, and translate complex information into practical recommendations and actions.
10. Provide data analysis, implementation tracking, reporting, and workforce or operational expertise for cross-functional projects and initiatives that advance Primary Care and School Health priorities.
11. Other duties as required.

Other information:

Technical Expertise

1. Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, required.
2. Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data validation, and data management methods required.
3. Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, modeling, reconciliation, and scenario planning required.
4. Knowledge of EHR systems, healthcare data standards, provider productivity measures, panel management, workforce planning, and access metrics required.
5. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex operational data and translate findings into practical recommendations required.
6. Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity required.
7. Ability to manage confidential compensation, contract, workforce, and provider information with discretion required.
8. Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive reporting needs required.
9. Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
10. Experience in healthcare is preferred.
11. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

Education and Experience

1. Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field required.
2. Certification: None required.
3. Years of experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, operations, workforce planning, contract coordination, or a related field required.
4. Years of experience supervising: None required.
