A Willowbrook, IL-based veteran-owned company is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to reinforce and enhance its suite of real-time applications used in security environments, including defense, critical infrastructure, and nuclear security. Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of professional Java development experience
Strong understanding of multithreading and real-time data streaming
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in telecom, fintech, or other real-time system environments
Background in security-sensitive industries
Familiarity with Svelte or modern frontend framework

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities
80% hands-on coding and system design / 20% leadership responsibilities
Building and strengthening real time applications with a goal of modernization
