Senior Engineer / Java / Svelte / Full-time in Willowbrook, IL

A veteran-owned company based in Willowbrook, Illinois is looking for Senior Java Engineer to advance its real-time application supporting mission-critical and high security environments. Their work spans from defense, telecommunications, and nuclear security.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in modernizing legacy systems with focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. This is a full-time and fully onsite role where you will be working alongside a close team of engineers.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Java development experience
Strong knowledge and experience in multithreading and real-time data streaming
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
U.S. Citizenship (required for security compliance)

Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in telecommunications, defense, and security environments
Familiarity with Svelte or other modern frontend frameworks
