NETCOOL DEVELOPER WITH IBM CLOUD PAK FOR AIOPS
Location: Tampa, FL / Dallas, TX / Basking Ridge, NJ / Ashburn, VA (100% Onsite from Day 1)
Duration: 6 Months
Mandatory Requirements:
• Telecom industry experience is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Netcool Suite, including Netcool Omnibus, Netcool Impact, Netcool Operations Insight (NOI), and IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps.
• Experience integrating and migrating traditional Netcool environments to Cloud Pak for AIOps.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Netcool Developer with expertise in IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps to support enterprise monitoring, event management, and AI-driven IT operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Netcool technologies and experience implementing AIOps solutions within large-scale Telecom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate and migrate Netcool Omnibus and Netcool Impact environments with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps.
• Configure event synchronization, data mapping, transformation rules, and alert correlation mechanisms.
• Develop automation policies, runbooks, and remediation workflows using Netcool Impact, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Support AI/ML-driven event grouping, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and incident prediction.
• Implement topology management and resource visualization to provide application-centric infrastructure views.
• Integrate third-party tools such as Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack, and monitoring platforms into the AIOps ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues across hybrid-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
