Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide sophisticated counsel on estate planning matters including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and estate and gift tax.
• Draft, review, and amend estate planning documents to ensure they meet the client's needs and are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective estate planning strategies to minimize estate and gift taxes and protect assets from potential creditors.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to estate planning.
• Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues related to estate planning and tax law.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning law, with a focus on trusts, wills, and tax law.
• Exceptional knowledge of federal and state laws related to estate planning and tax.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and amend complex legal documents.
• Strong research skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, concise advice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
